Educational Qualifications:
Posts are to be filled by direct recruitment of Apprentices through selection of
candidates holding National Apprenticeship Certificate(NAC) in the relevant trade issued
by the National Council of Vocational Training
Essential Qualifications
(a) Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Institute or Board with knowledge of
English.
(b) Should have complete apprenticeship training in the trade (or) Mechanic or
equivalent with two years regular service in the appropriate Technical Branch of
the Army, Navy and Air force.
Age For Direct Recruitment/ Age Relaxations:
Between 18 and 25 Years, applicable to both direct recruits and ex-Naval
apprentices. Age Relaxation Applicable as per Govt Rules.
Selection Process
(A) All eligible candidates are required to appear for the written examination consisting of
objective type questions prepared based on the syllabus of the relevant trade and at
the discretion of the competent authority. All eligible applicants are required to attend
the written test and report at the venue two hours before the commencement of the
examination as per call letter.
