class X.

Both exams will be conducted on 17th
November, 2013 (Sunday) at 27 Centres in Himachal Pradesh for National Talent Search Examination 2013.
Those aspirants who will be qualified in
stage I will be eligible to appear in Stage II which will be held on 11th
May, 2014. Here we are providing you the relevant details for NTSE 2013 Application Form
Scholarships
details:
NCERT, New Delhi will award One thousand
(1000) scholarships of Rs. 500/- per month to the candidates from class X
onwards up to Post-graduation / Ph.D level. MHRD, New Delhi will give 832
scholarships for H.P under NMMS scheme. For the poor meritorious students for 4
years the scholarship worth Rs. 500/- per month will be awarded from class IX
to XII.
Eligibility
for NMMS (class VIII):
- To appear in this examination applicants must be regular students in VIII class with 55% marks in previous class i.e. class VII from recognized board. SC/ST/Physically challenged group candidates have relaxation of 5%.
- Aspirants who want to appear in this examination their parent’s income must be RS. 15,000/- per annum.
Eligibility
for NTSE (class X):
- To appear in this examination applicants must be regular students in class X class with 55% marks in previous class i.e. class IX from recognized board. SC/ST/Physically challenged group candidates have relaxation of 5%.
- Students of class VIII appearing in NTSE Nov 2011 can also apply for this examination

- Candidates who want to give this examination they can obtain application form from 5th August, 2013 from the Office.
- You may also obtain the application form from by sending self addressed envelope with stamp of Rs. 5/- to the Principal, SCERT, Solan.
