Name of the Posts: Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) Grade-II : 122 Posts.
Andhra Pradesh: 27 Posts
Jammu & Kashmir: 15 Posts
Madhya Pradesh:24 Posts
Orissa: 14 Posts.
Rajasthan: 23 Posts
West Benga : 29 Posts.
Educational Qualifications:
A recognized medical qualification included in the first orsecond Schedule or Part‐II
ofthird Schedule (otherthan licentiate qualifications)to the Indian Medical Council
Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualification included in Part‐II of the Third
Schedule should also fulfillthe conditionsstipulated in Sub‐Section (3) of Section 13
ofthe Indian Medical CouncilAct, 1956.
2. Completion of Compulsory rotating internship.**
3. Language test: The candidate shall have to pass a qualifying test of middle standard
in official language ofthe State concerned where the vacancies are notified.
4. Registration with the Medical Council ofIndia.
Age Limit: Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on 07.10.2013. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5years for employees of ESI Corporation and Government servants in accordance with theinstructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.Age Relaxiation applicable as per Govt rules.
Application fee: Canddiates Need to Pay 225/- for General and OBC All others are exempted for the payment of Exam Fee.
Mode of payment: ‐ A Demand Draft of Rs.225/‐(as applicable) in favour of “E.S.I. Fund
Account No. 1” drawn on any scheduled bank payable at New Delhi has to be submitted
alongwith the SystemGenerated hard copy of application.
