National National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has started National Talent Search Scheme (NTSS) in the year 1963 with the main purpose of the scheme to identify talented students and nurture them. As a process of NTSS every year NCERT will conduct the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE 2013) on Mental Ability Test(MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test(SAT) of the children (students) studying in Class X to continue their education with a specified scholarship.
