About Arunachal Pradesh Police: Having been constituted only in 1972, Arunachal Pradesh Police remains one of the youngest police services of the country. There are several historical factors for this delayed constitution of the force. Being an integral arm of the law & order administration in the state, it had to follow the prevailing norms, which in the shape of customary laws, were very rightly, given a position of preeminence. In fact, the whole philosophy of administration in this area, in the words(957) of our first Prime Minister.

Educational Qualifications:
1. Sub Inspector: Graduation From Recognized University
2. Head Constable:Class X Passed from Recognised Board
3. Constable (GD): 8th Class Passed
4. Constable (Others): 8th class Passed 5. Follower Post: 8th Class Passed.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years to Max 28 years 01.01.2013 Age Relaxiation Applicable as Per govt Rules.
Application Fee:Candidates are required to pay Rs.15/- for SI Post and Rs.10/- for remaining posts.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Documents verification, Physical standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Exam and Medical Exam.
