JEE Advanced 2014 Pattern/ JEE Advanced 2014 Exam Pattern...

JEE Advanced 2014 Exam Pattern is extremely useful for all the JEE Advanced aspirants to get an idea about the kind of questions to expect, number of questions, duration of exam, subjects to cover and more. Candidates should base their JEE Advanced preparation on the lines of the JEE Advanced 2014 Paper Pattern. Given below are the salient features of JEE Advanced 2014 Exam Pattern.



JEE Advanced 2014 Paper Pattern
  • The JEE Advanced 2014 Exam Pattern will cover two question papers that feature in the examination.
  • Each JEE Advanced 2014 Paper will be of three hours duration.
  • The JEE Advanced 2014 Question Papers will be available in two languages – English and Hindi.
  • Each paper will comprise of three separate sections with Section I in Physics, Section II in Chemistry and Section III inn Mathematics
  • The JEE Advanced 2014 Questions will be of multiple choice designed to primarily test the comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
  • Some sections carry negative marking in the JEE Advanced 2014 Question Papers.
  • The answers are to be marked on a separate two-sheet carbonless paper

JEE Advanced 2014 Question Pattern:

JEE Advanced 2014 Paper 1: Will comprise of Section I for Physics, Section II for Chemistry and Section III for Mathematics.
Each Section will have questions as follows:
  • Section 1 will contain 10 Multiple Choice Questions with four options out of which one option Only will be the correct answer
  • Section 2 will have 5 Multiple Choice Questions with four options each out of which one or more are correct.
  • Section 3 will have 5 questions and the answer to each will be a single digit integer ranging from 0 to 9

JEE Advanced 2014 Paper 2: Will comprise of Section I for Physics, Section II for Chemistry and Section III for Mathematics.
Each Section will have questions as follows:
  • Section1 will have 8 Multipple Choice Questions with foru options out of which one or more are correct.
  • Section 2 will have four paragraphs describing theory, practicals, data etc. There will be 8 questions in total with 2 questions per paragraph. Each question will 4 options out of which one is correct
  • Section 3 Matching List type questions where two lists are matched and options coded as A, B,C and D. Candidates have to choose the option as per the code.
