Category I : (Posts in the Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines).
(i) Geologist, Group A : 100
(ii) Geophysicist, Group A : 80
(iii) Chemist, Group A : 80
Category II: (Posts in the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of
Water Resources)
(i) Junior Hydrogeologists (Scientist B),
Group A : 05.
Educational qualifications: candidates must have Masters Degree in Geology/Applied Geology/Physics from recognized university.
Age Limit: Candidates no more than 32 years as on 1st August 2014. Age relaxation applicable as per govt norms.
Selection Proceed: UPSC Selected candidates on the basis of Written Exam and Performance in Interviews.
Application Fee: General and OBC candidates need pay 200/- of applications fee.by Deposited in Bank/Online Payment. All Others are exempted for the payment of fee.
How to apply: eligible and interested candidate can apply online on or before last date 31.March.2014.after completion of online application candidates must take hard copy for the future verification.
