The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon announce its Class 10 result for the session 2014.This year, a total of 13,28,970 students had registered for the CBSE Class 10 Board exams. There are 7,93,940 boys and 5,35,030 girls out of the total number of registered students. This means a total increase of 5.54 per cent in the number of candidates.

A total of 12,871 schools participated in the exams, wherein the centres were held at 3,253 places. Out of the total centres, 605 were local centres, 66 were foreign and 8 centres hosted the exams for blind candidates in the capital city, Delhi.
